Our reputable suppliers and production partners are committed to providing us with the highest quality ingredients while following all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards as well as state and federal regulations for safe food handling and production. Exact procedures vary a bit depending on the product and facility to make sure each practice is catered to what that product needs for safe handling.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for harmful pathogens in our products so, after production, we employ a test/hold protocol and test every batch we make. We take multiple samples from each batch throughout various phases of production to send off for testing. Once those tests come back clear of pathogens, they are then released to distributors to be sold.
Of course, in addition to these food safety protocols, all of our partners follow strict sanitation procedures to reduce potential cross contamination between batches.
