Because of this, some breakage during transit, shipping or frequent handling in busy stores can happen from time to time. These crumbled bits are perfectly safe to feed and an approximate measurement for these is a 1/4 cup, loosely scooped, is equal to about 2 sliders. Alternatively, the freeze-dried sliders weigh approximately 7-9 grams each if you have a kitchen scale handy!
Another fun idea is to save these crumbles and use them as an extra topper to your pet's normal meals or as a fun enrichment activity in a snuffle mat!
